Whenever you come to the realization that fashion is a cyclical phenomenon that recreates itself with a touch of modernity, then style possibilities become infinite. Clothing of the 80's also referred to as vintage or retro have always been a fashionable trend, the challenge has been where to find them, how to properly wear them and determining the year of the definitive challenge.

The years ranging from the 1950's, the 1980's and early part of 1990's, with everything from spandex, saddle shoes, big hair, big collars etc is witnessing a rebirth in one form or another in the fashion world. Every era in history has a rebirth and contemporary designers simply revise styles from earlier periods.

As a matter of fact, it's the past design concepts that are witnessing a resurgence other than the real fashion items. The resurgence of older concepts not only applies to clothing but also the film industry where storyline are recycled and masked by use of different settings and actors.

Though modern fashion designers work hard and design concepts that incorporate ancient detail and appearance, vintage pieces can be found all over; check your dad's wardrobe and the local thrift store and you'll definitely find a retro.
